Merry/Happy/Congratulations & all that jazz...

Happy New Year!!!
I figured I should put up photographic evidence that I'm still alive...
Though I was out of the country for two weeks for the holidays, my prolonged absence from cyberspace can be blamed on jet lag, computer woes, and some really bad allergies. I think I' m allergic to the heating unit in the teachers' room at school, and I'm definitely allergic to the sub-zero temps in my little office at home (I was SO spoiled with central heat in the US). I thought I'd be clever and move my computer to a room that could get heat, and I fouled everything up. The good news is that I finally got the school to sign out a laptop to me, so I'm not having to drag my poor Mac back and forth on the bike now - yea :)
The trip home was so nice and warm - I'm so SO lucky to have such amazing family and friends. Thank you thank you thank you all for helping me to have such a lovely Christmas.
Ahhh - there's the bell...
See you soon again -
(in the meantime, how about sharing about your favorite holiday moment in the comment section below?)

Having you and Chris here for Christmas was so great. It was wonderful seeing the whole family together once again. My only regret was that it was too short. I have your tea set on my tea cart. It looks so nice. It reminds me of you every day.

Watching Caitlin - meeting family and friends, opening presents and going to the beach (she was fascinated with the sand on her feet and the light on the waves/ripples in the ocean. There was no reaction to the water whatsoever...)

Tracey---

Glad you made it back safe and sound. Also happy you enjoyed your U.S. break. Favorite moments--naturally involve Caitlin. The idea of having four generations together for Christmas was truly awesome. Caitlin has brought so much joy to us;watching her explore new worlds was fascinating. Stay well--don't work too hard and keep smilin'

Hmmmm - favorite moment. I think it had to be watching you and Chris put the final touches on the Christmas Sweet Bread. But honestly, everything this Christmas could be catagorized as a "favorite moment." Thanks, Tracey, Chris and B for making that possible. We enjoyed all 3 of our special guests this year. And you ALL are welcome to come again any time! Love you...
