take 2...

It still needs a little more work, but I couldn't finish until bits were dry (and at 10:30 last night, I was too tired to wait for it to be!). Painting like this is so different from what I've done before in the U.S. I love the way the fude (brush) feels as it gently coaxes watery images out of the paper.

Tracey,
This is beautiful. It's such a peaceful and serene image... full of mystery and wonder. I love it!

So how many more days??? Can't wait to know that you're back "home" in the US. Miss you lots.

Wow....
and what, pray tell, is left to finish?!?!
Is this from a photo or your head?
And I love the border!

Will the next view have a little figure at the top waving a U.S. flag? Beautiful work----truly awe inspiring. Hang in there---you are almost home!!

Keep smilin'

Tracey, that is so beautiful. I have done a lot of oil painting and I never realized how beautiful a painting could be in just black and white. You did a wonderful job. I'm sure you are so excited about coming back to the States. Love yu, Aunt Louise

Tracey,

You evidenced a great talent for art when you were four years old. You have steadily imprproved all your life, and this painting is ample evidence. And to think that I am actually related to one of the greats!
