Kingyo-chan!
I just got some new fish for the summer season. At the summer festivals, children play a game called "kingyosukui" -they try to catch goldfish with a paper scoop!
You don't have to work too hard to have fun with my fish, though - just move your cursor over top of their pond & click to drop them some little treats :)

A nice surprise or a known event that happened to coincide with your beach trip?
Kind of a surprise. I'd heard there was a natsu matsuri (summer festival) going on somewhere in the area, but I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm going to miss all the little matsuri here...
"Fireworks" in Japanese translates to "hanabi" or "fire flower"
