Welcome to the life of an ALT (assistant language teacher) in Nagasaki. I started this journal when I visited Japan in 2004 with JFMFTP, then continued it when I returned as a member of the JET Programme in 2006. Enjoy!
I just got some new fish for the summer season. At the summer festivals, children play a game called "kingyosukui" -they try to catch goldfish with a paper scoop! You don't have to work too hard to have fun with my fish, though - just move your cursor over top of their pond & click to drop them some little treats :)
"Just a moment, please..." I seem to be experiencing technical difficulties and can't upload any photos...I'll post again when I can! - "JJBlogMaster T"

Pedro would appreciate your nom-deblog. I know a good consultant who works The Depot who can probably help but he'll be more expensive now that he's gotten a promotion.
He's gotten a promotion and STILL can't afford to send me even a birthday email? He's totally outta my will - Gretchen the Dog is my new heir apparent (or would that be 'hair apparent'?).
I believe my problems are with Blogger...I have a message from them saying that there will be some problems with photos for a little while.
