Oh my gosh. Is that whipped cream and cherries I see on the table in that last picture??? Did you have a banana-split party and didn't invite us??? Skip and I tried to read the soda bottles, with no luck of course! Root beer and 7-up?

These are the cutest kids ever, Tracey. Looks like you all had a great time.

Love you always.

Hmmm. not sure why...but for some strange reason, even w/ everything else going on, i noticed the kitchen counter!!!

i hope that doesn't make me a bad person !!! lmao

P - I suppose not, considering your profession. The Japanese kitchens are generally smaller, so the counter is, too, I guess. American counters seem to be bigger and a little sturdier, though.

Aunt B - that's actually not soda on the table there - it's water and tea - much more popular than Coke/Sprite, etc. Sorry we didn't invite you to this party - but come on the 17th of August and you can have all the whipped cream and chocolate syrup you want! We're having a party when my friend comes, and I'll be making ice cream again. However, to go with the Japanese cooking theme, we'll serve the vanilla ice with azuki beans :)
