Yesterday we had our school closing ceremony and farewell enkai for the teachers who are retiring or transferring.
Tonight I'm off to meet the deer in Nara and see a few cherry blossoms in Kyoto. Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend!

My contract is up August 6, 2009. I am still waiting to hear more details from my contracting organization.

Yes, I can stay another year - two, in fact. But when it came time to recontract, I just felt that this would be my last year here. Not precisely sure what's next, but I'll keep you posted!
